Collin Brown and J.J. Landers have each signed a Tender for the 2017-2018 season.

Decatur, AL – The Point Mallard Ducks are proud to announce that Collin Brown (’98 / Huntsville, AL) and J.J. Landers (’01 / Memphis, TN), two members of last year’s 18U team, have signed tenders with the Point Mallard Ducks of the NA3HL for the 2017-2018 season.

Huntsville, AL native Collin Brown missed the first half of last season after suffering an injury during opening weekend in Nashville, TN. Upon his return, Brown’s impact was huge as he provided depth at center and even filled in on defense when needed. Collin will bring size, skill, grit and energy to Point Mallard.

Coming into the Season as the youngest player on the team, J.J. Landers exceeded any reasonable expectations during the 2016-2017 18U campaign. Landers finished the season 4th on the team in scoring with 15 goals and 18 assists in 37 games.  Despite his age and size, J.J. plays hard and is not afraid to play a physical style, while also being a major contributor to the offense. His speed and skill allow him to be a threat every time he is on the ice, and his ability to see plays around him just adds another layer to his game.
