Meet Stephen Herbel and returning Duck Michael Dlugach

Ducks fans, get to know Stephen Herbel, he joins the Ducks via St. Louis and is looking to make an immediate impact. Coach Winkler hopes so too, “Stephen is an extremely versatile player who brings a competitive edge. He is strong first pass defensemen who is hard to play against. We expect him to come in and play major minutes and be a leader on our team. He is the type of player who will push his teammates in practice, he has a strong desire to win.”

This weeks featured returner is Michael Dlugach, a native of Coldwater, MS. Michael also played for the Ducks 18U team prior to joining the junior team last season. In his rookie year, he was a staple in the Ducks line up, appearing in 42 games and notching 6 goals and 6 assists. He plays on the edge, and is a true competitor. Coach Winkler loves his style of play, “Michael plays the game hard and is going to a big key to our success this season. He really grew as a hockey player over the course of last season and we are excited to have him back.”
