Seedot wins Vaughn NA3HL Goaltender of the Month for February

Point Mallard goalie Cooper Seedott, 20, was on fire during the month of February as the native of Northville, MI, posted a perfect 5-0 record with a 1.07 goals against average and a 96.3% save percentage. Seedott (6’1/175) faced 134 shots during the month and allowed just five goals, making 129 saves. Seedott allowed just a single goal in each of his five starts and he has won his last nine games, allowing just seven goals in the process. Seedott is 2nd in the NA3HL with 21 wins and ranks in the Top 10 in save percentage. “Cooper is an exceptional leader on our team and he is playing with so much confidence right now. Our team feeds off of his passion for the game. He is a tireless worker and he challenges all of his teammates at practice to be the best. He carries that over into games where again he is playing with so much confidence. He is challenging shooters and taking so much of the net away. I have not seen a goaltender handle the puck as well as he does at this level in a long time. Cooper takes charge on the ice and our guys have total faith in him. It is great to see him rewarded for his on-ice performance. He is the heart and soul of our team,” said Ducks head coach Tom Winkler.
