Atlanta could not stop Point Mallard\’s Justin Clark, who tallied a hat trick in a 6-4 win.
Clark\’s first goal came 4:07 into the first period. He then added goals at 11:10 into the second and at 19:19 into the third.
The teams traded the lead four times and neither team could skate away and hide. Atlanta took its last lead at 17:29 in the second on a goal by Artus Laukaitis to make the score 4-3 Atlanta. Point Mallard took over the lead for good with a power play goal by Stephen Coulter 17:04 into the third to make the score 5-4.
Team\’s forwards weren\’t the only contributers offensively, and the team\’s defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.
Point Mallard also got points from Josh Hamilton, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Point Mallard were Jake Cox, Justin Dunn, and Johnathan Meakins, who contributed one each and Matt Goodman and Jake Champaign, who each chipped in two.

Laukaitis assisted on the tally. Atlanta additionally got points from Laukaitis, who also had one goal and two assists. Atlanta also got a goal from Philip Pugliese as well.
