Great Falls survives penalties, beats Point Mallard, 2-1


Great Falls, which found itself down a man often, weathered Point Mallard's power play opportunities and emerged with a 2-1 victory.


Great Falls was paced by Malachi Bushey, who registered one goal. Bushey scored 7:51 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Great Falls. Adam Apangalook picked up the assist.

Great Falls' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Point Mallard power plays. Great Falls could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 24 minutes in penalties during the game.
