Brain answered for Mid Cities with a goal at 17:23 with an assist from fellow Jr. Stars forward Speights.
Point Mallard’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Bernardini as he stopped 21 of the 23 shots he faced. Bernardini’s counterpart, Lenz, also had a big night, managing to stop 46 of 55, but ultimately fell short.
