Nashville downs Point Mallard in overtime, 2-1 (OT)

Nashville pulled out a 2-1 (OT) overtime victory over Point Mallard on a clutch goal by Nicholas Redmon.

Nashville was led by goalie Nicholas Ottenbacher, who finished with 30 saves while allowing one goal. Ottenbacher managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.45 prior to the game.

Nashville was paced by Redmon, who tallied one goal. Redmon scored 2:23 into overtime to make the score 2-1 Nashville. Trent Kulczyk picked up the assist.

Nashville put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Point Mallard to score on any of its three power plays. Nashville\’s offense operated below its season average.
