The Ducks fall to the Brahmas 4-3

The Point Mallard Ducks' defense had a poor night, allowing the Texas Brahmas 32 shots throughout the game. The Texas Brahmas took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Kyle Cote.

Matt Goodman delivered for his team with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists). Bennett Weycker did his part, adding 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Dakota Davis chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first, Polcaro opened the scoring for the Ducks with a goal at 6:42 with helpers from Evans and Goodman. Weycker answered for the Brahmas with a goal at 14:16 with helpers from his linemates, Davis and Tobey. Weycker put in a goal at 17:08 with assists from his teammates Croswell and Tobey.

In the second, Goodman answered for the Ducks with a goal at 0:33 with assists from Horton and Dlugach.

In the third period, Laplante netted a goal at 5:43 with helpers from Chun and Goodman. Davis quickly followed with a goal at 7:01 with assists from his linemates, Tobey and Weycker. Cote deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 9:47 with helpers from Croswell and Bombardir.

This loss brings the Point Mallard Ducks’ record to (12-11-0-1).
