The Ducks fall to the Mustangs 5-3

Chris O'shaughnessy came up big, stopping 11 of 14 shots throughout the game. The Peoria Mustangs took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Ian Mchenry.

Regnars Udris chipped in with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and Matt Goodman had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 assists. Ian Mchenry delivered for his team with 2 goals and Jack Healy contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first period, Evans opened the scoring for the Ducks with a goal at 13:39 with a helper from defenseman Udris. Straker answered for the Mustangs with a goal at 15:46 with helpers from teammates Mcdonald and Mickel.

In the second, Mchenry put in a goal at 0:46 with assists from his linemates, Hay and Healy. Healy deposited a goal at 9:05 with assists from Groesch and Mcdonald. Mchenry scored what turned out to be the game winning goal at 12:17 with helpers from Groesch and Hay.

In the third period, Chun answered for Point Mallard with a goal at 5:24 with helpers from Goodman and Udris. Udris netted a goal at 12:42 with assists from Goodman and Horton. Stewart answered for Peoria with a goal at 18:38 with assists from Finley and Power Wayvon.

This loss brings the Point Mallard Ducks’ record to (16-16-0-1).
