The Ducks struggled against the Jr. Blues 5-2

The Point Mallard Ducks’ defense had a poor night, allowing the St. Louis Jr. Blues 25 shots throughout the game. The St. Louis Jr. Blues took the lead late in the second on a goal from Matthew Monreal.

Jarett Green did his part, adding 2 assists. Bud Winter chipped in with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Will Baginski delivered for his team with 2 assists.

In the first period, Chun opened the scoring for the Ducks with a goal at 1:24 with a helper from defenseman Green. Trombly netted a goal at 7:48 with helpers from his teammates Goodman and Green. Winter finally put the Jr. Blues on the board with a goal at 19:59 with assists from Shively and Baginski.

During the second, Mcatee deposited a goal at 13:41 with helpers from Hatton and Cox. Monreal scored what turned out to be the game winning goal at 19:43 with assists from his linemates, Winter and Jones.

In the third period, Winter put in a goal at 5:39 with a helper from fellow Jr. Blues forward Baginski. Jones netted a goal at 16:26 with an assist from Galaguzov.

This loss brings the Point Mallard Ducks’ record to (19-18-0-1).
